Are you doing any traveling soon? Are you planning on bringing your firearm?

The Canadian Border Services Agency is advising American visitors to Canada, and even those just passing through on their way to Alaska to consider shipping their handguns rather than try and cross the border with them in their vehicles.

This reminder comes after border guards at North Portal uncovered a disassembled handgun from an Alaska bound traveler on August 22nd.

Due to rule and regulations in place, the gun was seized.

All firearms must be declared at your first opportunity.
