The COVID-19 pandemic has made it clear that our healthcare workers are superheroes.  And coming up September 10th and 11th we'll salute those superheroes at the 14th annual 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon at the Town and Country Mall.

Our goal this year is to raise $195,000 for critical care equipment for the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Hospital.  The list includes a new crash cart and defibrillator, a telemetry system, Holter monitors, and chemo chairs.

Thanks to the generosity of CP Rail the radiothon is already off to a great start.

In a statement, CP said “Canadian Pacific chose the area that would later become the city of Moose Jaw as the division point for its railroad in 1881. CP has a long history in Moose Jaw, and it continues to be an integral location for our network, employing more than 650 people locally,” said Scott McGraw, CP Superintendent Operations, Moose Jaw. “Through our community investment program, CP Has Heart, we are proud to be matching the first $20,000 of public donations toward new cardiac equipment for the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital during the 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon. Because after all, everyone has a heart.”
