The Moose Jaw Warriors lost the services of defenseman Michael Hengen, who was picked up by the expansion Edmonton Oil Kings

The Moose Jaw Warriors blue line got a little younger Tuesday when everyone learned that 20-year-old Michael Hengen was on the move. Hengen is moving back to Alberta, as the Edmonton Oil Kings in the expansion selected him.

The 20-year-old came to Moose Jaw from Calgary at last seasons trade deadline. He played 24 games with the Warriors, scoring three goals and adding ten assists.

The 6'1, 190lbs native of Surrey has 16 goals and 62 points in his four year WHL career. Edmonton will be the fifth team that Hengen will have suited up for in his career and his third in the last two years.
