Making their first court appearances on Wednesday, two out of three people arrested this week during a high-risk search warrant will remain in custody.

Moose Jaw Police were investigating a recent home invasion when they arrested Scott Bobbett, Cassidy Atkinson, and Chayden Warford.

According to Police in the evening hours on Monday, officers and the RCMP Critical Incident Program conducted a high-risk search warrant in downtown Moose Jaw. They had obtained the warrant to find further information and evidence related to a recent home invasion. 

Once the joint operation was in progress and they had reached the residence, two people were spotted leaving, and police detained them during this time. The two people who remained inside were removed safely. 

Officers charged the trio with Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm. 

Warford has additional charges that include Break, Enter and Assault, Robbery, Disguise with Intent and will stay in custody until his next appearance November 26th.

Bobbett will also remain in custody until his next appearance on November 28th, while Atkinson has been released and is scheduled back in court December 12th.
