A big night offensively helped power the Ice to a 12-10 win over the Hustlers in the Moose Jaw Senior Ladies Fastball League on Monday night.

Kiana Avery had a triple and two RBI to help lead the Ice to the win, while Bryn Giddings was 4-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI.

The Ice scored in every inning on their way to the win.

The Hustlers came out of the gate firing with seven runs in the top of the first, highlighted by a two-run double from second baseman Amanda Harper.

The Ice answered back in the bottom half of the inning with five runs of their own, they would add two in the second, one in the third, two in the tenth, and one each in the fifth and sixth.

KC Poaks threw a complete game, allowing ten runs on nine hits with three strikeouts to earn the win on the mound.

The Hustlers will look to bounce back when they return to the field on Tuesday night to host the Colts. First pitch is at 6:30 p.m.

In Men's Fastball action on Monday, the Moose Jaw Canadians went into Regina and knocked off the Earl Grey Rockets, 13-1, in the Rambler Park Fastball League.

The win moves the Canadians into first place with a 6-0-2 record this season.

The Canadians and Giants are both back on the field on Thursday to host the Bulyea Rustlers and Regina Silver Screen, respectively, at Memorial Field.
