A cloud burst just after 4:30am was followed by scattered showers and have left a thin film of ice on the highways, roads and sidewalks. Travel is not recommended right now on the TransCanada from Belle Plain to just east of Swift Current as a result. It's the same story on Highway 2 from the US border through Moose Jaw.
The showers are expected to stick around for part of the day with a high of +6.
