As the 2007 Business Retention and Expansion International conference continues in Regina this week, a delegation was brought to check out Moose Jaw Tuesday.

Economic developers, consultants and business leaders from around the world are in Saskatchewan this week taking in the 2007 Business Retention and Expansion International conference in Regina.

But on Tuesday Moose Jaw took centre stage as delegates paid us a visit to see what's making us one of the busiest tourist destinations in Canada.

Mary Elsesser is from Virginia and was most impressed with the feeling she got when she first arrived. "I'm really, really impressed with how folks are working together here to redevelop, just a fine example of community spirit, walking along the street and the friendliness of folks. I originally grew up in Maine in a very small town and I know the challenges or pulling people together but it’s obvious that it’s happened here."

The delegation took a tour of the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa, the Tunnels of Moose Jaw, and various other sites to get a feel of what our city has done over the past 10 years.
