Admittedly, she doesn't have a ton of experience but she does offer a fresh face and a fresh perspective. Carrie Johnson is one of 13 candidates that have filed their paperwork for a spot as a school board trustee in Prairie South's Subdivision 6.
The 35 year old is a stay-at home mom and thought it was time she threw her name in the mix. "I never worked in the education system but I am heavily involved in Moose Jaw Lacrosse and Moose Jaw Minor Football so I interact with kids on a daily basis and their parents."
"I'm willing to look at everything and I love to bring new ideas forward or working with old ones to help move them forward in this day and age."
There are a total of 19 candidates in the Prairie South School Board election this year, 13 of them are running in Subdivision 6. We vote October 24th.
