Over $58 million in building permits were issued by the City of Moose Jaw in the month of June. 

This includes a $51.8 million permit for the Great Plains Power Station in the Agri-Food Industrial Park. The power station broke ground in late 2021. The latest update is that the site began building vertical this past winter and the Heat Recovery Steam Generator arrived this past spring. 

The permits were $44.25 million more than June of 2021. 

Year-to-date, the city has issued $73 million worth of permits, $31.5 million more than last year. 

One demolition permit was issued in Moose Jaw in June and six new dwelling permits were issued.
