After 8 and a half years of nothing, Edmonton Police appear to have some new information in the case of a Moose Jaw man who went missing after an argument with cousins.

A spokesperson for the police department has confirmed that the missing persons file has been reclassified as a homicide investigation.  No other details are available at this time and there has been no indication as to why the change has occurred. The EPS has said that there could be more information released next week by homicide detectives.

Koshman was working in Edmonton and living with cousins back in October 2008.  There was a disagreement early in the morning and he reportedly left the home around 3am but hasn't been heard from again. According to police at the time, his cell phone and bank account remained inactive.

Family and friends have searched the city, put up billboards and offered a reward, but this is the first development in more than eight years.
