It's been a beautiful summer but you've probably noticed temperatures cooling off and leaves starting to turn colour.  The first day of fall will be ushered in at 8:49am Saturday and, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac, we'll see an average September and October followed by a winter that could be nicer than last year.

Almanac Editor Jack Burnett is predicting some moisture toward the end of September, leading into what he calls a "Goldilocks October" - not too hot, not too cold and not too wet.

Burnett says winter around Moose Jaw, which begins December 21st, will be slightly warmer and drier with a little less snowfall than last year.
