Leonhart Adolf Christmann aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Monday, February 20th, 2023.  Leonhart was born on the family farm 6 miles north of Chaplin, SK on September 9th, 1938.  He farmed grain and raised cattle, along with being a Bus Driver for 30 years, with many routes in the Tugaske and Central Butte, SK area.  He also worked construction, mainly as a handyman but was also involved in the building of several houses in Central Butte.  He even built his own home 3 miles south of Central Butte.  After retirement, Leonhart moved into Moose Jaw.

Leonhart enjoyed fishing, watching curling, playing cards, and was an avid Moose Jaw Warriors fan.  He loved garage sales and collected salt and pepper shakers, eventually totalling over 3,000 of them.  Most of all, Leonhart loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  They were very important to him and he loved to spoil them.  Leonhart was a firm but kind individual who loved to joke and tease.  He will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Annie.  Leonhart is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Tracey (Mark); son, Trent; grandchildren, Brandon and Treyton; and great-grandson, Cooper.
