The end of the school year is still a few months away, but Grade 8 students will already be thinking about the transition to high school life. 

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the local high schools have gotten creative to showcase their amenities. 

Peacock Collegiate has a virtual open house on its website as well as a download of the open house handout.

Central Collegiate also has a virtual school tour posted on its website.

A virtual Q & A session will be taking place on Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m for all of Prairie South's Moose Jaw high schools. You are asked to call 306-693-4691 ahead of time to book your spot. 

Vanier Collegiate will be one of the few schools that will be holding in-person tours for Grade 8 students from March 16 to 20. You are asked to call 306-693-6744 in order to book your time. 

The school also has a social media blitz happening to showcase its facilities including a welcome video on Youtube. More information can be found on the school's website.

Meanwhile, in Caronport, the Briercrest Christian Academy will be holding a Dorm Life webinar on March 18 at 7 p.m. The webinar will be hosted by vice president of recruitment and marketing A.J. Crocker with guest Kristen Mattie, senior residence director.
