It looks like Dawn Luhning is back in the race for Moose Jaw City Council.  According to her website, the current member of council will seek re-election October 24th.

With that, we now know what all current councillors will be doing.  On Tuesday, Terry Coleman announced he will not seek re-election and Mayor Glenn Hagel had previously announced his retirement.  Councillor Fraser Tolmie is running for mayor while Brian Swanson, Heather Eby, Don Mitchell and Dawn Luhning are running for another term.

If you're on the fence about running in the 2012 civic election, time is running out to make up your mind.  Nominations close Wednesday at 4pm.  Paperwork and information packages are still available but they need to be returned on time in order for your name to be included on the ballot.  We vote for a new mayor, councillors and school board trustees October 24th.
