A man accused of attempted murder will return to Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Nov. 15.
Kyle Peeace, 20, appeared in court on Monday via video with his lawyer Doug Andrews on the phone.
Andrews asked for the adjournment as he has been attempting to get in contact with Kyle, who is currently in remand. Andrews also asked for more time to speak with the Crown prosecutors.
Kyle is charged with attempted murder along with 20-year-old Dillon Peeace following a machete attack that took place in downtown Moose Jaw on Sept. 28. The attack left two people with “critical” injuries.
Kyle also has several outstanding charges including assault with the intent to steal, assault with a weapon, breach of an undertaking and failure to appear in court.
Dillon is scheduled to be in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday morning
