With Sadness the family of Mark Rudeen announce his passing early on July 10th at Chateau St. Michaels, where he had resided for the past 13 years.

Mark worked for most of his life with Canadian Pacific Railway as a carman. He enjoyed working on the trains and was a faithful worker.

He was a quiet man but had a wonderful sense of humor and liked to tease the Chateau staff. He was a loving, caring, gentle man, and he was fiercely loyal. Mark will be missed by all who knew him.

Mark was predeceased by his father George Rudeen, mother Anne Szuch, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister Margo (Dave) Walsh, nieces Phadra Walsh and Aubrey Walsh (Ryan Swanson) and their children. He will also be missed by his cousins to whom he was like a brother, and his remaining aunt Irene Rudeen.

We cannot express our thanks enough to the staff of Chateau St. Michaels for the wonderful care you gave him over the years. You were like family to him, and he spoke so fondly of you. Special thanks to Bonita, whom he visited every day and Rob, who made sure the radio was on for the Warrior games. To the staff of 2nd west a very special thanks for all you did for Mark. He was very fond of you and truly appreciated everything you did for him. You made our lives easier knowing Mark was in good hands.
