The Moose Jaw Miller Express extended their win streak to four games after a 10-4 win over the Beavers in Weyburn on Wednesday night.

Moose Jaw jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Declan O'Hare made it to first base on an error, scoring Thomas Soto. Robert Estrada then drove in O'Hare with a single to right field.

Estrada ended up stealing second base, which allowed Darren Hagan to cross home plate for the third run.

The Miller Express went up 5-0 in the top of the third. Austin Gurney scored off an error, followed by Estrada scoring off a single to Joe Osborn. Weyburn would reply in the bottom of the third with a single run.

Moose Jaw's lead was extended with a pair of runs in teh top of the sixth. Soto scored off a fielder's choice hit by Gurney. Nathan Houston was driven in by a double from Hagan to make it 8-2.

O'Hare hit a single in the top of the seventh that scored Bobby Pokorney to give Moose Jaw a seven-run lead. However, Weyburn would gain that run back in the bottom of the seventh.

Moose Jaw put the game out of reach in the top of the eighth when Hagan scored off of an Estrada single.

Aaron Knuutila got the start on the mound for Moose Jaw. He went four innings and allowed six hits, three runs and three strikeouts. Bo Jacob Garza came in relief to pick up the win. Estrada had a big night at the plate, going four-for-five with two RBIs.

The Miller Express move alone into second place in the Eastern Division, a half game up on Medicine Hat.

The Miller Express are back in action at Ross Wells Park on Friday for a doubleheader against the Swift Current 57s. The first game, which is making up for a postponed game from June 27, starts at 6 p.m. Game two will start around 8:30 p.m.
