The Christmas season can be tough and stressful, especially for those wondering if they will have enough food to feed their family over the holidays,.

Luckily Thursday and Friday, the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank will be looking to help those people out.

Assistant Manager with the Food Bank, Deanne Little

"We will be doing hampers this week Thursday and Friday from 10am-1pm. Anybody that is needing help, if your struggling, finances are tough, come in and talk to us. If you have any other questions you can check out our website at mjfoodbank.org, or you can check out our facebook and if you have any questions - message us on there and we will get back to you."

Its already been a record setting year for the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank, with the number of clients they serve going up and up. With food prices set to rise in 2020 as well, it doesnt appear things will get any easier.

Terri Smith, Operations Manager with the Food Bank.

"It's kind of scary knowing that there are so many people right now who need that extra help and with the prices of food going up in the new year it scares me a little bit, to be honest. I'm seeing a huge increase in clients coming in, even clients that say they've never been there before and that they're usually the ones giving [to the food bank]".

To pick up a hamper, stop at 305 Fairford St W between 10 and 1 on Thursday or Friday.
