The body of a 19-year-old male swimmer has been found at Last Mountain Lake, which is 150 kilometres northeast of Moose Jaw.

On June 26, at around 3:45 p.m. the Lumsden RCMP received a report of a missing swimmer at the public beach in Buena Vista on the lake.

Moose Jaw RCMP assisted the Lumsden detachment, along with the province's RCMP Underwater Recovery Team, conservation officers, and the public in the search for the missing swimmer.

The male was located deceased in the water near where he was last seen. His family has been notified.

This is the second time since the start of the summer season that a swimmer has gone missing in the region, as on June 21 a teen was found deceased at Barneys Beach, near Buffalo Pound Provincial Park.
