The Lunch and Learn will feature two guest speakers.

One woman is a mother whose daughter started taking crystal meth at age 16 but is now in recovery.

The other speaker will be Mary lee Booth, coordinator of the MJCMSC, on things family members can do to help their loved one who is affected by crystal meth as well as available local resources.

They will be talking about their experiences, resources, advice on how people can help, and where to find support for people who know an addict or are addicts themselves.

Booth, says, "There are two questions that families have posed to us. One is what do I do and then the other is where do I go for support and hopefully we'll answer both of those questions during the Lunch and learn."

Booth also talked about how the MJCMSC hopes to educate people on how the consumption of meth affects the body and how we can be more compassionate towards people using the drug and understanding them.
