"It has a bit of a legend unto itself, people have such special times, special memories and they know when they come it's going to help save the life of a person. It's had a very profound impact at the old Union Hospital and now continues to this very day at the new Dr.F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. It means a great deal to people, it's become very much apart of the community," said Executive Director Kelly McElree.

He said with this being a milestone year for the annual fundraiser, attendees can expect bigger and better things.

"There's just incredible displays this year. It's very special to people, there's lots of amazing stories, gifts and generosity being show... it really gets you in the Christmas spirit."
