Just in time for Christmas the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation is getting a nice financial boost from the employees of Mosaic at Belle Plaine.

"I was surprised that we were nominated because we didn't know anything about it," said Harvey Messner, President of the MJWF. "Somebody out there knows a lot about the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation and likes what we're doing."

The federation will receive a $5000 community grant from Mosaic. The employees in Belle Plaine cast votes to select the winner.

The Moose Jaw Wild Life Federation helps with the Pheasant and Walleye conservation effort and gets students involved when it comes to raising these animals. Messner said the money will be used for educational programs and to engage youth in conservation.

"It all cost money, and all this five thousand will come in real handy."
