After breaking a record high temperature on Thursday, Moose Jaw once again broke another record on Friday.

As of 2:30 p.m., the temperature reached a high of 19.1 degrees, according to Environment Canada. The previous record was 17.1 degrees back in 2001.

Other communities to break records included Assiniboia, Coronach, Elbow, Swift Current and Regina.

On Thursday, the mercury peaked at 16.6 degrees, besting the previous record of 14.8 degrees set in 1994.
