A chilly start to the new school year and a chilly start to the new day. Southern Saskatchewan is dealing with some cooler than normal weather as we get started on the month of September.

There was a frost advisory overnight that was lifted early Wednesday morning as things got a little cool. Moose Jaw hit -1 at 3 am according to Environment Canada, well below average for this time of the year.

We should see a nice enough afternoon but still cool overnight as forecasters expect +3 for the Moose Jaw area with colder temperatures in some areas. The system should be out Thursday morning, allowing for 28 degrees by Friday.
