I see it happened again and people are excited.  They're talking about it on social media.  The local woman posting this:  "Ha!  Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan is famous again!  Made it on to The Good Doctor."

The Good Doctor, if you don't know, is a television show on ABC - a medical drama series.

Many of you will remember other occasions when Moose Jaw got a plug on TV.  They mentioned us on The Beverly HIllbillies but, as I recall, they said our city was in Alaska.

A Moose Jaw bylaw came up on the old CBC show "This is the Law" back in the 1970s.

Moose Jaw figured prominently in the movie "Slapshot."  One of the hockey players was introduced as a Moose Jaw native and their fictional newspaper was the Times-Herald.  And, Moose Jaw's own Reg Bechtold was actually in the movie.

It's good to hear people still get a kick out of their hometown getting mentioned on TV and in the movies, even if they're making fun of us.

Moose Jaw - our city's name is like a novelty act that doesn't get old.  I'm OK with that.
