A Moose Jaw man is facing child pornography possession charges following an investigation by the Moose Jaw Police Service.

Police learned earlier this year that Nolan Conway had been communicating with a child online.

An investigation with the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit led to a search warrant at Conway’s residence. Police say they seized his cell phone and several other electronic devices and hard drives.

All of the evidence will undergo a forensic examination, but a search of his cell phone led to an immediate charge of possessing child pornography on July 12.

Conway has been placed on conditions to attend court at a later date and to have no contact or communication with any person under the age of 16 years old.

Further charges are pending the results of the forensic examination of the seized evidence.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service.
