A 46-year-old man is in custody and facing a charge of break and enter with intent to commit assault.

Moose Jaw Police says officers responded to a break and enter at a residence along the 1200 Block 3rd Avenue Northeast on July 8.

They say an unknown male broke into the residence with intent to assault an occupant inside. The suspect fled the scene when he could not locate who he was looking for and was confronted by the homeowner.

Then on the following day, July 9, 2023, through investigation, the break & enter suspect was identified as 46-year-old Rodney McNabb and was located in a residence in the 1200 Block 9th Avenue Northeast.

The accused was wanted on other non-related arrest warrants and was arrested without incident with the assistance of K9.

Rodney McNabb - 46 years old - is charged with break and enter with intent to commit assault and is being held for a court appearance on Monday July 10th, 2023.

It was a busy weekend for the Moose Jaw Police Service as they also responded a home invasion and have the suspect in custody.
