A 23-year-old individual faces several charges following an incident that occurred early Tuesday morning.

Just after 1:30 am, officers with the Moose Jaw Police Service were on foot patrol when they came across an individual with outstanding warrants, who was also in possession of a cash box.

The individual resisted arrest, assaulted the police officers and attempted to flee.

Following a short foot pursuit, the individual was placed under arrest.

A short time later, police received a call from a local business stating their cash box had been stolen from their drive-thru window.

Dalton Cameron has been charged with break and enter, assault PO, resist arrest and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
