The Moose Jaw 11U AA Canucks Grey pulled off a provincial championship win this weekend in the 11U Tier 2 B provincials held at Bell Park. 

They outscored opponents 73-14 over the weekend in five games of high offence and tight defensive play. 

Friday against the Saskatoon Cardinal destroyers they win 11-1 

On Saturday against the Regina White Sox, they pulled out a 19-9 victory. Then followed that up in their second game versus the Saskatoon Timber A’s with a 12-1 victory. 

Sending them to the semifinals against the Moose Jaw Canucks Black. 

The Canucks Grey came out ready to play putting up six runs early and playing stellar defence to win 16-1. 

The Canucks Grey came up against the Saskatoon Royal Mavericks in the finals. 

Again the offence came out to play pitting six quick ones on the board in the first after shutting down the Royals in the top half. 

In the second, Canucks gave up two, but would answer back with three of their own in the bottom of the second. 

In the third, they held the royals to no runs and put up another six. In the top of the fourth, Canucks got two quick outs then let a couple on base. The defence came alive again and didn’t let a run in to end the game after 3 and half innings to become provincial champions.
