Moose Jaw lacrosse players Cashton Seaborg and Mason Williams are representing Canada in the land down under.

The two are a part of Canada's Development Team, which are currently in Australia taking part in the inaugural International Indoor Junior Lacrosse (IIJL) Commonwealth Cup in Melbourne, Australia.

The event, which is hosted by the Altona Lacrosse Club is being played at the brand-new Allan Lewer Box Court.

Canada will play four round-robin games against city/state teams from Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth and the top two teams will battle in a winner-take-all final to see who will host the Commonwealth Cup.

The event kicked off for Canada on Mar. 15 in a close 12-10 win over the Melbourne Storm. Williams led the way for Canada with three goals and two assists for five points. Seaborg had a great tournament start as well adding two goals and an assist for three points.

It was another solid showing on Wednesday for the two Moose Jaw products. On Thursday, Seaborg earned himself the Outback Lacrosse Award with five goals and three assists in a 20-14 win over the Adelaide Thunder.
