When you make promises as politicians, it's up to you to follow through and that's what Moose Jaw's Brian Sykora aims to do.  The local entrepreneur believes our city is on the threshold of really expanding and he feels, if elected to city council, he could help us get there.

Sykora is the latest resident to file paperwork for the October 24th civic election. He'd like to fix our roads and core infrastructure but, insists, it all starts by coming up with incentives to attract new business and manufacturing.

"With business and manufacturing, you get jobs. With jobs, people will live here with families and with that you get the tax base needed for the infrastructure."

Brian Swanson and Dustan Hlady have also filed their paper work, giving us 14 council candidates so far. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday.
