Mary Elizabeth Moston, of Moose Jaw, passed away April 28, 2013 at the age of 88. She was born October 4, 1924 in Erie, BC. Mary was an active volunteer over the years, visiting WWII Veterans, and was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered for many events related to the Moose Jaw Lions Band, music festivals, and fundraising. Mary will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Gerald; sister Frances Bradley; son Robert Moston – Medicine Hat, daughter Patricia Givens – Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Terry Moston, Ron Moston, Elliott Chenger, and Jacquelyn Chenger Jamjoom; and three great-grandchildren Justin, Jordan, and Jayden Moston. The Memorial Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at 10:30 am. Padre Doug Shepherd will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Royal Canadian Legion Associate Rites will be conducted at the Chapel by Chuck MacMillan.  For those so wishing, memorial donations to the Legion Poppy Fund, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #59, or to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
