Moose Jaw's very own Johnny Beam is competing in the Orange County Choppers and Hope For the Warriors' Dream Chopper contest.

If Beam wins, he will have the opportunity to design his dream motorcycle alongside legendary motorcycle manufacturer, Paul Teutul Sr.

Motorcycle enthusiasts all over North America are competing for people's votes. Contestants are encouraged to post videos and decorate their social media, as they will have better chances of winning.

Beam says he fell in love with motorcycles when he was a boy. He rode his uncle's motorcycle whenever he went to visit, and he also spent a lot of time on his neighbour's bike as a teenager.

"I bought my first Harley Davidson Crossbone in 2009 with a springer front end," Beam remarked. "I've totally customized it the way I wanted it and bagged it out."

If you google 'Crossbones Bagger', you can find Beam's bike online.

Beam wants his bike to have a springer front end, a big wheel on the front, economical tires, a soft tail design, and a 70's mexi-cali vibe to it with a lot of vibrant colours.

"I want something that's different from anything else."
