Moose Jaw motorcycle enthusiasts will have a chance to find that rare missing part at a swap meeting taking place at the Exhibition Grounds on Saturday, March 11.

The event is being hosted by the Moose Jaw Cycle Association.

"A lot of people come looking for older motorcycle parts and there are a few people that have them and they'll be bringing them out and trying to move them around so that people can rebuild stuff and find stuff they're looking for or at least can talk to people and find out who might have that part," explained president Murray Roney. "Any kind of motorcycle paraphernalia is what we're looking for."

The Moose Jaw Motorcycle Swap Meet has been taking place for over 40 years. The event was cancelled the last three years.

Roney says they're hoping to attract 400 to 500 people from across the Prairies. The goal is to have roughly 50 vendors set up.

"What this basically is, is to give us enough money to do our Toy Run in the fall. We donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Fund every Christmas," added Roney.

The Moose Jaw Motorcycle Swap Meet will take place March 11 from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Exhibition Grounds in the Convention Centre South. Admission is $5. Vendor tables are $25 each and $10 per bike. For booking or information phone 306-693-6834 or 306-693-0159 after 5 pm.
