Palliser Conservative Member of Parliament Dave Batters is back to work this week as our federal government tackles the issues in their constituencies.

It's back to work for Members of Parliament from across the country this week.

Our elected officials are in Ottawa for the second half of parliament under the Conservative Government that is starting its second full year in power.

Palliser MP Dave Batters says the Moose Jaw MultiPlex is a topic he expects to be discussed in the coming weeks. "I've had a series of discussions with my colleges and senior officials regarding money for the multiplex. Now that I'm back in Ottawa I'm certainly going to follow up and find out exactly where things lie. I've been told that we won't have an announcement prior to a federal budget but I want to ensure that the money is in place for a federal share for a multiplex."
