In mid-May, the Next Gen Car Club brought its Season Opener event back to Moose Jaw.

The event consisted of a sunset cruise, cars and coffee at the local Starbucks, and the legendary Show and Shine car show in Tatawaw Park.

“The Show and Shine was amazing. We had thousands of people show up and hundreds of cars... We got a lot of compliments this time around as compared to last year. We had a better plan. We had a lot of people managing the show so this time it was a success,” says Jai Singh one of the admins of Next Gen Car Club along with Austin Murray.

Throughout the event, the club collected donations for the Moose Jaw Food Bank.

Over $1000 and over 170 pounds of food were collected and donated.

“It’s our local charity so we’d always like to support them and hopefully we will keep supporting them in the future as well,” says Singh.

The Show and Shine is an annual event and the club is already preparing for the Season Opener 2023.

Next Gen Car Club also organizes a closing event for the end of the season and they’ll be releasing details for that in the coming months.

Also, on July 16th, the Next Gen Car Club is having a video premier of the 2022 Season Opener Show. It’ll be hosted in Regina and more information can be found on their Facebook page.
