The Department of National Defence is telling us not to worry about the pilot training program located at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

The Department of National Defence is insuring us that the NATO Flight Training in Canada Program at 15 Wing Moose Jaw is safe.

We found out on the weekend that Denmark is pulling out of the international pilot program after 2010. Italy is also opting out after their contract expires.

Krista Hannivan is a Public Relations Officer with DND tells us things will be fine. "While we do hate to see anybody leave the program NDTC does remain a vibrant and a youthful training program. It continues to be an innovative contracting approach that does provide specialized pilot training at a lower cost that sustaining a separate Canadian Forces capability."

Canada, Singapore, Hungary and the United Kingdom are the other countries continuing to train pilots at the NFTC.
