No criminal charges will be laid by the Ministry of Justice against former Moose Jaw police officer Alan Murdock.

According to Chief Rick Bourassa, the police service was notified that no further action was being taken.

Murdock was dismissed from the Moose Jaw Police Service in June of 2019. He appealed his dismissal to the Saskatchewan Police Commission in 2020. The initial hearing was set to take place in August of 2020, before being postponed to September, then postponed once again until October.
