One more resident has died from COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, as 132 new cases were announced Wednesday.

The resident who died was in their 60s in the northeast region. 32 people have now died in relation to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.

56 of the new cases are located in Saskatoon, 18 in Regina, 10 in the north-central region, eight in the far north-central, eight in the southeast, six in the far northeast, six in the northwest, four in the northeast, four in the south-central region, two in the southwest, one in the far northwest, and one in the central west.

Eight new cases have pending residence information, and one case with pending residence information was deemed out of province and removed from the total case count.

2,099 cases are considered active, with 65 located in the 'South Central 2' zone, which is Moose Jaw and the surrounding area. 

76 people are in hospital, with 59 receiving inpatient care, and 17 in intensive care.
