One person was taken to hospital following a collision at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 642 east of Moose Jaw on Monday morning. 

Moose Jaw RCMP responded to the call at 7:45 a.m., along with Moose Jaw fire and EMS.  

Police say a semi and a pick up truck collided. The driver of the pick up truck was taken to hospital with injuries described at serious in nature. The driver of the semi did not report any injuries to police. 

The collision remains under investigation by RCMP.
