The goal was to collect shoes of all shapes and sizes and have them shipped to under-developed countries. Thanks to your generosity, the local campaign was a great success.

Matt Dominguez of Better Homes and Garden Real Estate asked for your shoes during the "Soles-4-Souls" campaign that ran during the month May and on Monday he gave us a final tally, saying it was one of the best fundraiser's he's ever been involved in.

"Between Murray GM being a drop off point here in Moose Jaw, my Estevan Better Homes and Garden Office and here, it's looking like about 3200 pairs of shoes that we've collected."

Dominguez says donations are still being accepted. The next step is to raise enough money to ship the shoes to Edmonton. From there they are distributed to other parts of the world.
