A concern over parking passes hanging from rear view mirrors will be looked into by a sub committee of Moose Jaw City Council.

That matter came up this week after a resident explained his concerns over limited visibility when special needs placards are hanging.  The Special needs committee voiced the concern to council and City Manager Matt Noble explained, it was already against the law.

"This is something that falls under the Traffic Act but it's not something that has been an issue in the community, to this point."

The placards are supposed to be taken out of the window when driving and that includes any parking pass, special needs or for a private parking lot.  The matter has been referred to the traffic committee for further review.
