Moose Jaw's Levi Paul got into his first game action of the season for the McMaster University Marauders on Saturday.

Paul finished with two catches for 37 yards, including a 27-yard grab, in a 37-3 win for the Marauders over the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.

The win improved McMaster's record to 2-2 on the season in the Ontario University Athletics conference. McMaster will host Wilfrid Laurier University coming up this Saturday.

In other U Sports Football action over the weekend, Moose Jaw's Maguire Abell, Jacob Laboccetta and the University of Regina Rams snuck out a 19-17 win over the UBC Thunderbirds.

Joel Litt-Jukes and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies lost for the first time the season, falling 37-28 at home against the 3-0 University of Calgary Dinos on Friday.

The Huskies and Rams sit tied for second in the Canada West conference at 2-1 heading into a showdown between Saskatchewan’s two universities on Friday night in Saskatoon. They kick-off at 7 p.m.

In NCAA Division 2 action, Moose Jaw's Griffin Barrett and the Simon Fraser University Clan lost 52-28 to the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Barrett finished with three solo and three assisted tackles in the win.
