We can all see the evidence.  In fact, over half of us are in the club - the paycheque to paycheque club.  You know, we run out of money before each paycheque arrives.  That's why many of our retail stores are busier mid-month and at the end of each month.

The latest survey shows 58% of us in Saskatchewan are living paycheque to paycheque right now.

We can't stop inflation BUT, we can take control of our spending so, I've searched out some helpful tips.  Some are seemingly simple like taking control of your credit card, making a budget and sticking to it and cutting back on luxurious living.

I also found a couple of tips some might not consider on a daily basis.  One is "turn down the heat and turn off the lights".  Utilities are expensive, especially in the winter months.

And, another good tip, to take the worry away, build yourself an "emergency fund".  Experts tell us we should all have enough money put away to cover living expenses for 3 or 4 months in case of job loss or unexpected, emergency situations.
