One of the two accused in the murder of 21-year old Tyrus Ayerst back on August 17, during what was considered a botched robbery, pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter in Moose Jaw provincial court Wednesday.

Sherwyn Pelletier, 20, pleaded guilty to the charge and will face sentencing submissions March 18.

Pelletier, along with 24-year-old Thomas Redsky McNabb, were charged in the incident, which took place on Flax Road.

McNabb pleaded guilty to the break-in and robbery.

Both Pelletier and McNabb were remanded into custody until their next court apperance.
