The Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool has been temporarily closed, as of August 8, due to water clarity issues.
The city says the pool will remain closed until conditions improve.
Notifications will be posted on the city’s website and social media channels when the pool reopens.
Residents are also reminded that the Kinsmen Sportsplex indoor pool is open with public swimming taking place from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. and then again from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. For schedules or to book swim times, use the Online Recreation Registration link on the city’s website, or the Recreation Registration button on the City of Moose Jaw app.
For those looking to cool off outdoors, the city’s five spray park locations also remain in operation at Crescent Park, Elgin Park, 1996 Summer Games Park, Co-op Community East End Spray Park, and Kinsmen West Park.
The Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool was also closed on July 4 due to water clarity issues.
