Moose Jaw Police responded to 64 calls for service.

6:39 am – Theft of Motor Vehicle – Sometime overnight a 2015 Toyota Yaris bearing Saskatchewan license plate # 774 ENH was stolen. The matter is still under investigation.

7:13 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle had been parked on the street with a missing tire for the past few months. The tires were marked.

8:26 am – Threats – A complainant was receiving threatening letters. The matter is still under investigation.

9:00 am - Break and Enter – Overnight a garage was entered. Change and garage door opener were taken from the vehicle.

9:38 am - Dispute – The situation was mediated.

9:52 am – Theft – Sometime overnight the complainant’s vehicle was entered and the credit cards and bank card were stolen and used multiple times. The matter is still under investigation.

10:29 am - Assistance to Sick Person – The individual was left in the care of hospital staff.

10:43 am – Attempted Theft – Individual(s) broke into a complainant’s vehicle and attempted to steal it. The matter is still under investigation.

12:58 pm - Assist to locate – A student left school property without permission. The student was located a short time later.

1:42 pm - Assault – The matter is still under investigation.

2:17 pm - Theft – An individual entered a complainant’s vehicle and stole a vape valued at $120.

2:38 pm - Fire Call – Members assisted with traffic control.

3:06 pm – Intoxicated Person – An individual was walking into traffic. The individual was arrested for public intoxication and was held in cells until sober.

3:49 pm – Erratic Driver – A vehicle went through a stop sign. The license plate number was obtained. The registered owner will be warned.

4:34 pm – Theft – A storage unit was broken into. Items were stolen. Locks were replaced.

5:46 pm – Theft – A storage unit was broken into, and there is $250 worth of missing items. The matter is still under investigation. 

6:32 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A vehicle had been sitting in a parking lot with an occupant for several hours. The individual was sent on their way.

7:15 pm – Assault – The matter is being investigated.

7:49 pm – Assault – Police attended and arrested the individual on an outstanding warrant. The other subject will be charged with assault.

8:28 pm – Unwanted Guest – An individual was sleeping in the lobby of a business. Police spoke to the individual and advised them to move along and not to return.

9:19 pm - Harassing Communication – An individual was receiving unwanted phone calls.

10:58 pm – Unwanted Guest – An individual left the property prior to police arrival.

Police responded to five parking bylaw infractions.
Police executed six warrants.
Police assisted with one community service project.
Police assisted other government agencies in four cases.
