Moose Jaw Police responded to 45 calls for service.

7:46 am – Attempted Theft – Sometime overnight a vehicle was entered and the steering column was tampered with. The damage was estimated at $3,000.

8:15 am – Dispute – A group of friends had a falling out with each other. The dispute was not criminal in nature, and they were advised to delete each other on social media.

8:33 am – Theft Under – A Saskatchewan plate was stolen off of a vehicle. The plate had already been recovered in another jurisdiction on a stolen auto.

8:31 am – Theft Under – A vehicle was entered with miscellaneous items taken. This was reported for information purposes.

8:54 am – Other Bylaw – A vehicle owner left their vehicle running for over an hour outside of the complainant’s window. This is still under investigation for police to speak to the vehicle’s owner.

11:42 am – MVA – A vehicle hit the curb and was now not driveable as it had two flats. There were no injuries, the damage was estimated at $400, and the vehicle was towed.

12:26 pm – Disturbance – A subject was being loud and was disrupting the other tenants. The subject was spoken to and was advised to be quiet.

12:42 pm – Mischief – There was a report of mischief to a vehicle that occurred in June. The damage was estimated at $2,000. The complainant was provided the file number for insurance purposes.

2:02 pm – Barking Dog – Two dogs had been barking all day. The dog owner was spoken to and warned of city bylaw as per the complainant’s wishes.

2:10 pm – Break and Enter – Sometime over the weekend a residence was broken into. A stereo, TV and other miscellaneous items were stolen.  The loss was estimated at $1,000.  Police continue to investigate.

2:57 pm – Barking Dogs – There was a report of dogs barking. The dog owner was spoken to and warned.

3:45 pm – A complainant noticed $1729.00 in charges on business credit cards that the complainant didn’t make. Police continue to investigate.

6:56 pm – MVA with Injury – A two vehicle MVA occurred, with one driver sustaining a minor neck injury. The damage is estimated at $3,000.

8:45 pm – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of someone stomping around the apartment.  The tenant involved was warned of the city bylaw.

10:39 pm – Dispute – A parent and child were involved in a dispute.  Both Police and the Emergency Duty Worker spoke with the family and mediated the dispute.

2:15 am – Unwanted Guest – There was a report of a subject who wouldn’t leave a residence when asked. Police attended and assisted the subject in getting their belongings and then escorted them from the residence.

3:25 am – Assist EMS – Moose Jaw Police assisted EMS with a patient.

3:55 am – A subject kept calling 911 without saying anything and then hanging up. Police were able to locate the subject and determine there was no emergency.

Police responded to three 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in two cases.
PACT responded on two occasions.
Police issued eight warrants for failures to attend court and fingerprinting.
