Moose Jaw Police responded to 50 calls for service.

10:15 am – Uttering Threats/Cause Disturbance – A subject was refusing to leave when requested to do so.  Police attended and the subject began yelling and threatened staff.  The subject was charged and was held in custody for court.

1:56 pm – Theft – Suspects stole merchandise and fled in a truck.  The vehicle was later located, determined to be stolen and seized as evidence.  Police continue to investigate.

3:52 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred February 12, causing damage to a driver’s side door.

4:00 pm – Fraud – An old cheque was cashed. The complainant was able to get reimbursed from the bank.

4:21 pm – Dispute – A misunderstanding occurred between two parties. No Police assistance was required.

4:26 pm – Harassing Communication – A complainant was being followed by another vehicle with occupants unknown to them for two days.  Police are to keep an eye out for the vehicle in question.

5:43 pm – Mischief – A vehicle with several occupants was scoping out other vehicles in parking lots.  Police continue to investigate.

6:12 pm – Recovered Stolen Vehicle – A truck stolen from Regina was recovered. The occupants fled on foot.  Two subjects were located and charged for possession of stolen property and breach of court orders, and they were remanded into custody for court at a later date.

6:33 pm – Attempt Murder/ Break & Enter – A subject entered a residence and stabbed an occupant in the neck. The victim was able to overpower the subject until Police arrival.  The subject was charged with Attempted Murder and Break & Enter, and was held in custody for court.

6:51 pm – Theft of Auto – A Dodge Caravan was stolen from a parking lot. It was later recovered by RCMP.  The vehicle is to be processed by Ident.  Police continue to investigate.

7:36 pm – Assist to Locate – A subject has not been in contact with family for a few days, and family was concerned for their well being.  Police located the subject who was in good health and contacted the family.

8:59 pm – Hit & Run – Approximately $1500 of damage was done to the front end of a vehicle.

10:23 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located and in good health and did not require Police assistance.

11:32 pm – Assault with a Weapon – Police attended a residence for a reported dispute.  Upon arrival an adult male was suffering from a stab wound.  The victim was transported to hospital by EMS where he is recovering from injuries.  Police continue to investigate.

5:25 am – Mischief – An intoxicated subject punched a hole in the wall in an apartment, and left the residence prior to Police arrival.  This is still under investigation for possible charges.

Police responded to four 911 calls.
Police assisted other agencies in ten cases.
Police completed one curfew check.
Police responded to two alarm calls.
