Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 30 calls for service. 

8:23 am – Suspicious Person – An adult subject was in the area going through garbages. The subject was located and told to move along. 

10:43 am – Dispute – There was a dispute between neighbours. The complainant was seeking advice, and advice was provided.

11:06 am – Suspicious Vehicle – A vehicle had been left in the same spot for a long period of time. The owner was notified and informed police that the vehicle was waiting for repairs.   

12:06 pm – Shoplifting - An adult subject was caught on video shoplifting. The subject was located and charged with shoplifting. The subject was released on an Appearance notice with a later court date.  

1:21 pm – Break and Enter – A subject was located and charged with Break and Enter as well as Breach of Court Order.

1:58 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked in front of the complainant’s driveway. The registered owner was notified to move the vehicle.

3:35 pm – MVA – A motor vehicle accident took place. The driver was issued an ASD demand and the driver first blew a warning and upon second review blew a pass. A ticket was issued for driving without due care.

3:40 pm – Assist to Locate – Unable to locate a youth subject. The subject was located in good health.

3:54 pm – Assault with a Weapon – The suspect was arrested, charges are pending, and the victim was treated at hospital and released. 

4:03 pm – Shoplifting – An adult subject was caught shoplifting and a statement was provided. This matter is still under investigation.

4:44 pm – Break and Enter – The suspect was arrested and charged with breaking and entering. The suspect will attend court Monday morning.  

5:26 pm – Assistance to Sick Person – The subject was located in good health.  

6:40 pm – Break and Enter – A complainant called to report a break and enter. Items were stolen from the address. This matter is still under investigation.

6:58 pm - Break and Enter – A complainant called to report a break and enter. Items were stolen from the address. This matter is still under investigation.

7:55 pm – Dispute – Two parties were having a dispute. The dispute was mediated and the parties separated for the night.

7:58 pm – Suspicious Person – An adult subject was displaying odd behaviour. The subject was located and advised to move along.

8:29 pm – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was stolen and was added to the National database. This matter is still under investigation.

8:59 pm – MVA – A two vehicle accident resulted in 1 minor injury, 2 tows and 1 ticket issued.

11:14 pm – Driving Erratic – Youth were found in the area. All the youth subjects were warned for the driving actions.

 11:42 pm – Dispute – A dispute took place between two adult subjects. The situation was mediated and the subjects were advised to keep the noise down.

12:18 am – Well Being Check – A complainant was worried about an adult subject. The subject was located in good health and the complainant was notified.

1:06 am – Assistance to Sick Person – An adult subject was located and transported to hospital. The subject was left in the care of the hospital.

3:28 am – Break and Enter – Items were stolen. This matter is still under investigation.
